Marty vs. CTUIT: Reporting, Ownership, and Verified Follow-Through

If your team still calls its restaurant reporting system CTUIT, start a comparison by identifying the product and modules you use today. A legacy brand name does not establish what your current account can do.

Compeat acquired Ctuit, and Restaurant365 later acquired Compeat. Those official announcements describe a broader set of back-office, workforce, and intelligence products than “a dashboard someone pulls.” Ctuit acquisition announcement, Restaurant365 acquisition announcement.

Define the problem before changing tools

Does your team need a report it cannot produce, cleaner underlying records, or help deciding which issue matters? Those are different needs. Compare the reports you keep against the report evidence checklist before asking for a new output.

List the reports your organization relies on, who uses them, and what would break if access disappeared. Include scheduled outputs, employee workflows, historical records, and any links to accounting. Ask your provider to confirm current support, available modules, and export options for your account.

That inventory protects a useful system from being replaced merely because one operating question remains unanswered.

What Marty brings to the comparison

Marty starts with a paid Cash Recovery Plan. It examines the business by location and provides findings ranked by dollars, supporting evidence, a recommended action and owner, and a 30-day plan discussed with leadership.

The Review establishes the baseline that tells Marty what to watch first. The broader service adds a repeatable routine for ownership, follow-up, and verification alongside existing reporting. Confirm access to the specific legacy modules before work begins.

Compare reporting continuity with operating responsibility

Marty complements the reports you use; it does not replace a legacy reporting account. The acquisition sources establish brand history, not current account entitlements. Comparison reviewed September 15, 2026.

Responsibility CTUIT-named account Marty
Product identity Legacy name within the Compeat/Restaurant365 acquisition history cited above; confirm current product Managed profit-control layer
Existing reports and history Confirm modules, exports, support, and ownership in your account Uses agreed accessible records; no replacement of the reporting system
Prioritizing an unresolved issue Current workflow and service responsibility must be demonstrated Paid Review establishes evidence, priorities, owners, actions, and baseline
Recurring follow-through Contract-specific; unknown from acquisition announcements Optional Managed Profit Control: monitor, alert, follow up, escalate, verify
Price and access Current account quote and permissions required Review flat fee confirmed before work; access checked before delivery clock starts

Keep the existing product when reporting continuity is the need. Consider Marty alongside it when the missing work is a defined investigation or accountable follow-through. If the problem is failed exports or missing history, solve that dependency first.

Test the workflow with one issue

Choose an unexplained location variance. Have your team trace it from the report to source records, document the explanation, and assign the next action. Notice where the process stops. Use the manager action-log fields to test where a supported issue becomes an owned action.

If the report already contains the answer, a clearer responsibility or better configuration may be enough. If records disagree or the business-wide significance remains unclear, a scoped Review may be useful. If essential records are missing, solve the access problem before expecting a reliable conclusion.

Avoid a feature comparison based on assumptions

Do not infer missing alerts, mobile functions, or scheduled reports from an old brand name. Ask for a demonstration in your actual product and plan. Apply the same standard to Marty's access, scope, and any proposed ongoing checks.

Keep identified opportunity separate from verified recovery when evaluating either approach. A finding needs evidence; a financial result needs evidence that the action worked.

Compare what happens after the report

Marty is a managed profit-control layer for multi-unit restaurants.

Find → Assign → Follow up → Verify. Find a supported exception in the available records. Assign the operating owner and recommended action. Follow up and escalate missed work. Verify the next relevant result. Existing reports can remain the source while the managed routine carries the issue through.

Optional Managed Profit Control adds monitoring, alerts, follow-up, escalation, and verification for the agreed issues surfaced through your existing records.
